Sheet membranes are pre-manufactured waterproofing systems designed to create a continuous, fully bonded barrier that prevents water ingress. They are widely specified for both above-ground and below-ground applications due to their proven reliability and longevity.
Double-Layer Membranes (Torch-On)
- Torch-applied bitumen-based systems (RMB)
- Primer followed by flame-applied base sheet
- Second cap sheet applied in "brick bond" pattern
- Robust, multi-layer system ideal for high-performance roofing and decks
Single-Layer Membranes (TPO & PVC)
- Cold-applied using contact adhesives or self-adhesive backing
- Seams heat-welded using controlled hot air
- Suitable for commercial flat roofs and lightweight structures
- No open flame required - cleaner installation method
Applications
Above ground: Flat roofs, decks, podium areas, box gutters, warm roof systems
Below ground: Retaining walls, concrete slabs, basement structures
