Our Journey
Access | Partners in Property was born in 2005 when Richard Cawson and Lance Pearson, long time colleagues in the facilities management sector, joined forces to create a company that could offer both a personal touch and high standards of property maintenance. From early projects in Auckland’s Britomart and Downtown precincts, we steadily built a reputation for quality and reliability.
Our continued growth allowed us to expand our services across Auckland and beyond. In 2017, we acquired Gunac | Waterproofing Specialists, bringing over 40 years of waterproofing expertise into the Access family. By 2021, we strengthened our offerings by acquiring The Building Wash Company, further enhancing our building wash and industrial abseiling services. Most recently, in 2024, we acquired Waikato Property Maintenance (WPM), adding new talent and extending our footprint into the Waikato region.
