End of Tenancy | Interior Works and Exterior Clean
Access | Partners in Property can assist property managers in refurbishing retail shops / spaces for tenancy exits. This is where we will carry out interior and exterior works to prepare the property for its next tenant.This could include interior works and exterior clean (building wash, window clean and roof washing/treatment).
One of our key clients had approached Access | Partners in Property for these works. Our team was tasked to make good, a retail shop in Mt Wellington, Auckland (pictured below).
Works involved lighting upgrades in which our team safely disconnected the existing power supply and removed the existing exposed lighting track on the ceiling for proper disposal. This was to prepare the area for supply and installation of LED lighting panels to achieve sufficient brightness. The team had also replaced all ceiling tiles. The interior walls were sanded and painted with 2 coats of interior paint to remove the strong tint of the colours present initially. The last of the interior works involved uplifting the floor coverings. The surface was then lightly grinded and repaired to leave behind an exposed floor slab.
On the exterior, all signage was replaced with white acrylic blank signage for the next tenant to replace with their choice of signage. We had also replaced other mounted signage and made good with any required lining and painting works.
Access | Partners in Property are pleased with the outcome. The retail space was ready for the market for new potential tenants to move in right away. The new tenant will walk into a refurbished shop, prepped and ready for fit out works. This is something our teams can also assist in.
